Unlocking the bootloader will erase all data from your phone, your photos and videos , music and even applications you have installed. I deleted everything. Therefore I recommend making a copy of your things on the computer or any hard disk.
Being a Nexus device , provides a advantage over other manufacturers . Since we do not have additional security encryption unlike other companies , if they include it and make it more complicated and cumbersome the process.
The first thing we need is evidently have the smartphone in question, in this case the Google Nexus 5, need a computer, either laptop or desktop and the data cable to connect them together , if the best original cable.
You need to have the drivers installed on your computer, you asked to connect the Google Nexus 5 USB , but in case you are not to ask , you can download them directly from here. We also have to have the SDK installed, it will be able to use the command line to control the phone from your computer.
Now activate the USB debugging our Google Nexus 5, for this we will go to settings , we move to options and there desarrolo activate the USB debugging .
This done, with mobile connected to your computer via USB , will open a command window where you have installed the SDK. After opening the window write :
adb reboot- bootloader | This will cause the phone to reboot and enter bootloader mode.
fastboot oem unlock | This command starts unlocking the bootloader .
Then disconnect the phone without the USB follow the instructions on the screen of your Google Nexus 5 . Finally we asked if we unlock the bootloader , we say yes we moving us with the volume keys and confirming with the power key.
