I would like to update the Nexus 5 Android 4.4.1, the problem is that I appear in the 4.4.2 OTA update and do not want because they say it gives problems in battery consumption and such ...
The question is whether there is any way to install 4.4.1 via OTA and not manually. And another question: Do you warranty excludes or updates manually updated using SDK?
Thank you!

I know people with the Nexus 5 with android 4.4.2 and all improvements provided are, believe me.

In this update OTA you jump van including both enhancements 4.4.1 (especially camera) and 4.4.2, install it so quiet and so trouble you forget;).

How to Manually Update
Nexus 5 : Update to Android 4.4.1 ( KOT46E ) from Android 4.4 ( KTR16M )
To update manually need to have the Android SDK and the drivers of our Android device installed and follow these steps:
Download the appropriate file for updating us .
Save the ZIP file in the Platform -tools folder of the Android SDK .
Connect the device to your computer .
Turn off the phone and turn down both Volume Up + Volume Down + Power to enter the bootloader .
Login to the Recovery mode using the volume keys to change option and the Power button to enter.
When an icon with an exclamation press Volume Up + Power simultaneously displayed.
Select apply update from adb .
Write from the terminal window or command your computer sideload the adb command next to the name of the update.
For example :
adb sideload 7ed504f678cea49ecf0974e8cd956e2974e3f943.signed - hammerhead - KOT49E -from- KRT16M.7ed504f6.zip

After installing the update we just need to restart the device. This process will update the device respecting our data and that is what would the OTA automatically .
