Preparation:
First of all you have to do a backup of all your data because these are cleared through this process. You can use G
Cloud Backup to do so.
It is essential that the device battery is fully charged.
Steps to unlock the bootloader of HTC One M8
1-First you have to disable Fast Boot Fast Reboot your phone option or, for that disables your phone fastboot option from Menu> Settings> Power> Fast Reboot
2-Download the toolkit from this link (
Android Files), extract it and run the file M8.exe One
3-Then select the "Download HTC Drivers" option when downloading the file, install it correctly
4-Then select the "Register at HTCDev> Go" option. You will have to register on the page and confirm
5-In your HTC One M8 go to Settings> About> Programs> More and press repeatedly on Build
Number until you activate programmer options
6-Enter programmer options and activates the USB debugging option.
7-Then connect your phone to your PC and click on "always allow" message will appear on your phone
8-Access to the program and select the third option "Get Token ID". When you see the command window, copy the code you see between "<<< Identifier Token Token Identifier Start and End ... >>>", keep it in a notebook
9-Go to the program again and press the fourth option "Submit Token ID> Go", this will take you to the page of HTC DEV
10-Then tap Unlock Bootloader, choose your device and follow the steps. When you reach the section where you have to enter the Token, put the numbers you copied earlier
11-When you have finished the process, your mail will reach the Unlock_Code.bin file
12-Access the program and press the fourth option "Unlock Bootloader", once you ask for the file, select it and follow the process
13-Use the volume buttons to select Yes and press the power button to confirm the option
With these steps, you will have unlocked the bootloader of HTC One M8.
