Doubts update 9 Pie.

Question

I have a Nokia 3 and I have configured the sd in mixed mode one part to expand the internal memory and another for external. My question is if I upgrade to 9 Pie can I lose that partition? Thanks and regards.

I believe that if I, that you would remove that partition, I would put the 9 and then if you need it, you activate it again and that's it, so you can be sure to do the process well ...
