answer:

We must bear in mind that a Backup is different from a system image. The system image is an exact copy of your hard drive (including operating system); and Backup is a backup of all important information we have on our team (NOT including operating system). Backups can be set to run automatically or manually.

To make a Backup do Click Start> Control Panel button> Systems> Performance (That if we have View Categories option) and then Backup and Restore.

See the following image:

Then we click where indicated image copies Configure Security, from there we will open two simultaneous windows one that tells us that we are starting the backup manager and the other and with the manager who will run the following images below :

We see that window gives us the option to select the backup "Where is saved". Remarkably, backups can be stored on internal hard disk drives, external hard disk drives, recordable CDs or DVDs, USB flash drives and network locations. The latter works if the computer is on a network shared folder or drive on the network. They can be an appropriate place to store backups since (..) not use storage space on your computer. Note that we have a wide area to choose different options, and the latest recommended would be the same physical disk from the system unit when no more. (.... Not much else)

In this tutorial we will make Backups using recordable CDs or DVDs. Taking screen "Selection", we click DVD RW Drive, and click on "Next" as we can see in the picture:

Then we will get a screen that will ask us: "What dese do the backup?". Many would follow the usual protocol, and would therefore recommends Windows, but in this case it is up to each person. (???? Then you have to reach an agreement. I do not think that it is a personal advice. Rather something collective and for many) I personally, would choose that want him to try copying of security and pus select folders and equipment and the advantage with manual choice can choose if by chance have a system image that we could also add something that if we let Windows automatically do this skips that file as long as no is in sectors that support, so choose the best option and click next:

We see in the picture below you can select whatever you want to save and give the following:

Then comes one of the most important steps: the verification of what we are doing. This step is important because we can Enable Scheduled Configuration Backups.
If you want to avoid Backups are made automatically, just uncheck the box "Automating Backup" and we click the button Save Settings and Run Backup. If we leave it in automatic only copies of the sectors we choose will be saved.

Then they will begin to upload files and we must have the DVD or CD ready, depending on that we copied to the unit, so that the process is complete:

After I made the backup we can activate it whenever we want.
