This was all we needed to fans Networks 2.0 to stop having (less) life, Facebook chat is like an addiction and you'll always find people that much time not talking ago and you end up losing half the day at the happy chat.
If you do not mind and you also want to talk more quietly from a desktop client, you can configure your account to use Facebook from iChat. The steps are simple:

Get iChat and click "Add New Account" from the program's preferences.

Once done, select "Jabber" as the account type.

Enter as username [email protected], replacing 'X' with your user name in the service.

In the Password field enter your password exactly as you do on Facebook.

Click on the arrow "Server options" and enter as a server: chat.facebook.com as Port: 5222. Remember not to click on the box for "use SSL".
Usually, we have integrated Facebook chat and configured with the rest of our iChat accounts now waste time but we can do it more comfortably than from the website of Facebook.
