Some time ago I wrote an article about one of the problems of Google Play, exactly he was referring to the error 920, but recently it has reported a new one called the "403 error" affecting the discharge of both new applications ("XXX" could not be downloaded due to an error (403)) and update (Update for "Some App Name" could not be downloaded due to an error (403)). I believe that as an editor I've been very lucky because I have not had to live this uncomfortable problem so far, but that is no excuse for ignoring the plight of those readers who are suffering from this cause.

After researching and consulting several experts on the problem, there are many hypotheses about among which has been associated with a cache data in the app store and / or an overload in the service of the store. For sure basically the only thing confirmed is that because of this error many Android lovers are "stuck" unable to discharge the case. Since the source of the problem has not been established, it is likely that there is only one way to fix it. Therefore, then different methods are shown to find a solution so we can continue enjoying the system as if nothing had happened:

  • Check if an update of the operating system, as this may solve the problems related downloads.
  • Go to the Setting menu,
  • Click the Apps tab,
  • Move panel "All",
  • Select Google Play Store,
  • Choose the option "Force Stop"
  • Then erase the data using the option "Clear data"
  • Back to the menu and click on the option "Google Services Framework"
  • Choose the option "Force Stop"
  • Then erase the data using the option "Clear data"
  • Restart the device,
  • Open Google Play and try to upgrade or install the application in question was presenting the problem.

I had the same 403 error when wanting to download an application. What worked for me was by Link2SD Plus they already had installed. Situate in the Google Play Store app, and select options ERASE cache and then delete data. Sali the Link2SD, I tore the Play Store, I selected Install the application and perfect without the odious ERROR 403.
