Gmail account settings can not sync contacts (Note 3)

Friends recently acquired one and contacts Note 3 mobile option does not appear in sync gmail accounts and can not sync contacts, kit kat have android 4.4, any ideas? someone happened, I have some pictures of how it should appear in the menu on the left image and as I appear in the image on the right, but not the same phone, it's the same problem, thanks in advance for your help .

The picture on the right is not as it appears and give support!!

I have found no solution, no way apparently I had to upload hand contact.
