As we have told a few minutes ago, the Chinese team Taig has launched a new Jailbreak for iPad 2, 3, 4, Air, Air 2, mini, mini 2 mini 3, iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, 5c, 6, 6 Plus 5G and iPod touch.
This Jailbreak only have a few hours of life so we recommend that you wait a few days before installation. If you do not want to wait, follow the instructions in this tutorial that will explain how to do the Jailbreak Taig in 7 easy steps. At the end of the article we have also included the translation of the tutorial in Chinese who posted the Taig itself on its website. Before you start make sure Jailbreak your device has a lot of battery or connected to the mains. And the same for your computer if you use a laptop:
1. Disable access passwords
Before you begin go to Settings> Code and click "Disable code". If you have an iPad 2 or iPad mini Air 3 with Touch ID, you'll find it in Settings> Touch ID and code.
2. Disable Find My iPhone / iPad
Go to Settings> iCloud and disable the "Find My iPad". If it's an iPhone will be called "Find My iPhone". The option should be marked "No".
3. Make a backup in iTunes
As always, it is essential to back up your iPad or iPhone before doing the Jailbreak. If the process is not completed successfully you could lose all your data. So just in case, connect your iPad to your computer, open iTunes and do a full backup.
4. Download and open the file TAIG
The first thing to do is download the installation file by
clicking on this link. You can also do this by going to the official website of
TAIG and clicking on the tab just below the logo that puts iOS 8. For now it is only available for Windows and do not know when there will be a version available for Mac.
The downloaded file is called "TaiG_1006.zip". Unzip it and double click on the "TaiGJBreak_1006.exe" file to open the installation wizard.
5. Select Cydia
In the wizard screen you will see that you can choose what you want to use app store. Make sure the option to Cydia is selected and that the second option (which comes with the name "3k 助手") is disabled. This will prevent install on your device pirate TAIG app store.
6. Click the Jailbreak
Now only press the big green button on the bottom and begin the process of Jailbreak. Make sure your computer does not turn off your computer at any time during this time.
