Call Log (by connecting the iphone to the computer? )

Hi I wonder if you can retrieve the phone number of incoming or outgoing calls by connecting the iphone to the computer? Through iCloud or backups? Or through other means.

If you restore the backup to iCloud or iTunes, also recover from last incoming and outgoing calls, and missed, so if you are at the time that the backup to both iCloud and itunes was performed.

Let's see, we have a coworker that you have connected the iphone to the computer and your boss has seen every call that has echo and have cast, all under, but assures me he saw on the computer screen all details of calls, the time and duration, this is possible or is deceiving me, or even could actually see through a program or anything?? 

and as can be disabled so that does not happen if it's true???
