1-The conditions to be able to use this new functionality that Apple gives us is that both the iPhone and the Mac is up to date with the latest versions of their respective operating systems: iOS 8 and Yosemite. In addition, the two devices must be connected to the same wifi network. 
 
 
2-Well, the first step you have to take to make a call from your iPhone from your Mac is to open your Contacts folder on your laptop or desktop computer. If you do not find the program, type "contacts" in the Spotlight search box. 
 
 
3-Once you have opened the Contacts utility on your computer, what you do is find the person you want to call either reviewing the entire list by typing the name or part of it in the search box.
