We've been looking at different forms of tickets to "manipulate" in a way, like a Nexus Terminal 4, a Nexus 7 or Nexus 5. Especially the option to get root permissions on these terminals so that opens the door to the possibility of explimirlos maximum.

Acquiring root permissions on an Android device, you can try other Roms, Kernels, Mods and able to fully enjoy some applications that could not without being root.

But what happens if for some reason I want to leave my terminal as it came from the factory? No problem. If something good with Nexus terminal users is the ability to download from the official website of Google's factory image of your model of Nexus and leave again.

Whatever the reason you want to regain your phone straight out of the box, you can do it in 5 minutes, and what is best of all, its warranty will remain valid.

The steps to restore a Nexus 5 terminal and leave it as it left the factory are:

These steps are valid for any Nexus terminal. You just need to download the factory image corresponding to your model.

If you understand the steps and follow the bottom of the letter, you should have no problems. If you decide to continue doing it for your decision. I am not responsible for any damage or failure that may arise.

The first thing is to prepare the field in order to perform tasks, or what is the same, unburden the necessary tools. On one side the Android SDK and secondly the factory image of the Nexus model you own.

Descargarmos the SDK and unzip it into a folder on your computer.

Factory Image unloaded our model and unzip the SDK / sdk / platform-tools folder.

Prepare your phone. Turn it off and reboot into fastboot mode. Remember, by holding down the Volume - and pressing the power button. Then connect the USB cable to the phone.

The first thing you have to do is open the bootloader if you have it closed. If you keep it open you can skip this step and go directly to step 2.

Please, open the bootloader assumes full deletion of the terminal: applications, settings and internal memory of it. If you do not want to lose your files make a backup.

In fastbool mode, open a command prompt from the Start Menu / Run and type the following command to open the bootloader: fastboot oem unlock. On the phone screen we confirm the operation by selecting it with the volume key and confirm with power. We hope to complete the terminal and restart in fastboot mode. We can now close the console.

Within the Platform-tools folder of the Android SDK, encontrartemos a file called flash-all.bat that comes from the factory image of our model we unpacked. We opened with a double click and see us and open a command prompt and automatically start loading the factory image files to your phone. When finished loading all the files, the phone will restart.

Turn to close the bootloader we had open. To do this, we return to restart the phone in fasboot mode, open a command prompt, type the path to the platform-tools folder of the SDK and fastboot oem lock send the command to close the bootloader.

We have our factory fully restored as if nothing had happened and with warranty intact terminal.
