How to perform a reset to factory defaults (Hard reset)

  1. On the desktop, tap the icon Home (Home) .image
  2. At the top right of the home screen of the desktop, touch the icon Apps (Applications) .image
  3. The display Apps , touch the icon Settings (Settings) .image
  4. The screen Settings (Settings) , touch to select Backup & reset (backup and restore) .
  5. The display Backup & reset (backup and restore) , tap to select Factory data reset (reset to factory data) .image
  6. The display Factory data reset , read the text on the screen.image

    NOTE: If you also want to delete all the music, photos and other data from current users, tap to place a check mark in the box next to USB storage Erase (delete USB storage) .

  7. After reading the text, tap to select Reset tablet (Reset tablet) .
  8. On the screen Confirm reset (confim reset) if you are sure you want to continue with the reset procedure, tap Erase everything (Delete all) .image
  9. The tablet will restart as soon as the reset procedure is completed.
