When you install Google Chrome on your computer or mobile device, it automatically imports personal data like browsing history and homepage. However, no additional information can also be added, such as bookmarks, search engines, saved passwords and settings.
If you want to discover how to import this configuration to your browser, follow these simple steps:
-
Before you begin, close all browsers you have open.
-
Open Google Chrome.
-
Click on the menu on the browser toolbar.
-
Select Bookmarks.
-
Click Import Bookmarks and Settings.
-
In the dialog box "Import Bookmarks and Settings" link, select the application that includes the options that you want to import.
-
Click Import.
If you already have files stored on your Chrome, this process will generate another folder to avoid replacing them.
