Android KitKat Error With Default Settings Browser Actions

I'm having a problem with my Nexus 5 and I'm going crazy: I installed craps player, as usual, after a factory reset, but the Dolphin browser will not ask me what application should be used to play videos (from the mobile youtube or other sites).

 

How I can restore the default application value?

I tried to look at the application settings-reset, but nothing. Do not ask to use another application, only the browser opens broodstock. I have tried other browsers as well, but no luck. He tried to restore application preferences, but nothing.

 

I upgraded to 4.4.2 thinking that the problem was solved, but again, the same problem. I did a full wipe, tried to stock ROM and then the purity of the ROM, various kernels, but no luck.

 

I am the only one having this problem? You could try to play for me?

 

Steps:

•  install a browser (chrome dolphin browser or in my case)
• install the craps player (or MX Player if you upgrade)
• open from youtube (or any site with video files) from the browser and open a video. to see if you are asked to play craps player or simply opens the browser broodstock

This could be a deficiency in the Dolphin. It is the application to decide whether it wants to open a new URL itself, or offering it to other applications. Last year, Firefox had a similar problem, do not always provide a selector when you click a link in Firefox. Even a link to a YouTube video would open the mobile interface of Firefox instead of offering to open the YouTube application.

 

From your description, it sounds like the Dolphin has the same problem. (I have tested the Dolphin myself.) You must report it to the developers and ask them to provide video links to other applications.

They should be able to confirm if this is what is happening anyway.
