Let's see if I have one clear about this post:

On some devices (in the nexus that I have not) Android offers the possibility of a default location to install new applications. There are two options default install applications on the SD card download or install them in the internal memory of the device.

As the low-end models have very little space in the internal memory that memory is often fill quickly. The question before us three possible scenarios:

[1] That the default location is full and the other not

[2] That the default location is full and the other also.

To begin let's assume the situation [1]. Let's device settings> storage> Menu> change default location> choose the one that is not selected. Now I can try to install some software.

If the problem once you have changed the default location persists is that we are in the situation [2]. In this case touches clean.

In my opinion the best method to clean both the internal memory or the SD card is going into settings> applications> downloaded> and seriously consider whether the app is:

- Expendable. If the app is not required press it> force stop> clear cache> delete data> uninstall or disable.

- Indispensable but not your data. Press it> force stop> clear cache> delete data (including settings eye)> Move to SD

- Indispensable, Press it> force stop> Move to SD

Notes:

Not every app let's move to SD. Apps that have active widgets are best left on the phone.

Typically, the SD has more internal memory space. So there tend to move apps. It is also true that you can notice a slight slowdown when opening an app from SD; it is slower than the phone memory.

Obviously a factory reset proposed in threads related works but is usually what is known to overkill.

There are also cleaning app's doing massively deleting cache and data. That and tastes of each, I'd rather know what I do and where app.

Edited: It has happened to me to mention that applications downloaded whatsapp photos and videos as well and the like will at least consider "essential but not data" for storing all this info in your device's memory eat.

Has been solved with these guidelines?
Greetings.
