I need help to activate my iPhone4

Question

I am trying to activate/setup my son's Iphone 4. He is now living with his mother in Utah, and can't remember his id or password. I have the phone in the setup mode.

1. Turn on your iPhone 4. 
2. Use the iPhone data cable to connect your device to a USB port on your computer. The iTunes program will automatically open on your computer.
3. Complete the activation information requested in the iTunes window. This information includes the phone number of your iPhone, your billing zip code and last four digits of your social security number. Click "Continue". 
4. Accept the terms and conditions of the iPhone and press "Continue". 
5. Accept the terms and conditions of your mobile service provider and press "Continue". 
6. Expected to iTunes to sync with your iPhone and complete the activation process. iTunes will warn you when activation is complete.
