How to fix gmail has stopped

 

Please can you help me. It is that I get a notice that says that Gmail has stopped. This happens to me from 2 days ANDROID 5.1 updated via OTA ago. I already tried deleting the application cache, delete data, forcing arrest, actulize. the only thing I need is to do a hard reset but I will not because I made one very recently. And it is very cumbersome because my cell is a moto G 2013 and must copy all the files to keep pc. Thank you very much.

When you delete data stored in the cache, the required space is freed, as the temporary files on the device are removed. This is a short-term solution and, over time, the data stored in the cache will reaccumulate and you must delete them again. To clear the cache of the app, do the following:

• Open the Settings app Device Configuration.
• Touch Applications or Application Manager (this option may vary by device).
• Select the gmail app from the list.
• Touch Storage.
• Touch Clear cache.
• and clear data

Restarting the device, all processes start from scratch. Sometimes that's all you need to solve a problem. To reset the device does the following:

Hold down the power button until the menu appears.
Touch Shutdown or Restart (if the option appears).
Tap OK to confirm.
Hold down the power button until the device turns on.
