help many people with this, because so far all that has happened they had to reset the factory settings to fix it.

1. You have to be root (the truth is I have not tested if it works without being root)
2. With root explorer (or similar) enter into / system / app
3. We seek "vending.apk" we click on it and give it to install, reinstall the application
4. Restart the terminal.

READY. simple eh? ;)

90% of crashes "android.process.media" are because of a cut to begin downloading an application from the market.
In the other 10% of cases, the problem is the same, but may have been caused by another application, in this case, we apply the same system mentioned, but the appli that caused instead of "vending.apk".
If in your case you do not what caused the market, very probably the gallery of photos, reinstall and go.
