I have morning appointment at the apple store for a problem on the screen of the iPhone 5. Around the rim is a yellow / green band, which is mostly seen on white background. I've seen other iPhones 5 (newer) and companions do, too, but with much less intensity. It is like a glue edge of the screen, which burns with time and becomes visible or something
