The latest update (we are today September 22) of Google Map has a very interesting feature: We can download the plan once in our terminal and be able to use without being connected to the Internet.
1. Select Available Offline
2. We can expand the area to reduce pinching the screen, and we can usually move around the map to the area you want to select this within the red square

2a.- may happen that the area is very large, we will show the app in a post on the Red Line: If we zoom the message disappears.
2b.- may also be that the selected area belongs to a country that is outside the list of 150 countries with the system: as in the case of Spain (hopefully the update).
3. We press Done (We indicate the data size to occupy our commemorates the phone) and wait for the download to complete (it should be done from a WiFi connection)

4. Once downloaded to move around the map and enter the selected area does not need to be connected to the internet to view the map.
VERY USEFUL: For trips (we can save connection costs and have a GPS abroad) to our cities (increase the loading speed of maps and reduce battery consumption in our regular routes)
