The Huawei Ascend Y300 is currently the second most popular device in Spain after Motorola Moto G 16GB. Sure many of you are interested in rooting your Huawei and so I offer this simple tutorial explaining step by step how to do it.
Warnings and Requirements
First of all I remind you that rooting a phone is always a process that can be hazardous so be warned that neither Android nor are we responsible for the possible consequences that this process may result in your terminal.
Before starting the tutorial is mandatory to perform a backup of all the information stored in your terminal.
The device must have at least one battery charge of 80%.
The USB drivers must be installed correctly in the computer and USB debugging enabled (Settings> Developer options) on the device to transfer files between your phone and PC.
This tutorial is valid only for models and Y300-0151 Y300-0100 Huawei Android 4.1
You must have a uSD card at least 1GB.
Steps for root Huawei Ascend Y300 0100 and Y300-0151 (Huawei U8833-1) with locked bootloader
2 is not mandatory, but is recommended to format the uSD.
3 Unzip the downloaded package ("Unlock Bootloader Offline [Y300]") and copy it to the root of the uSD, the "dload" folder with its contents (Update.app).
4 Insert the uSD card (in case you had been not so already), disable quick start and turn off the phone.

3 Connect the phone to your computer, enter the unpacked folder and run the install-windows file (if you're using Linux-linux.sh install file and select "Run in Terminal" option).
