Damaged files are behaving differently and therefore no longer function properly. These files can be regular, such as pictures, documents or file system files. Most corrupted files can not be repaired and must be removed or replaced.

Save a file correctly. When something goes wrong or there is a problem saving the file, you may get corrupted.

Turn off the computer properly. Avoid holding down the power button as the action causes Windows to shut down unexpectedly.

Use the Remove hardware safely option while the physical USB port is removed.

If you can not correct the corrupted file, try to recover a previous version of the file to replace the damaged version.
Local user profile is corrupt
In rare cases, Windows can not read your user profile correctly locally, this can cause problems accessing the files and folders. You may have to create a new account profile / local user. To create a new local user account, follow these steps:
Move the mouse cursor to the top right corner of the screen and select "Settings." Then select the "Change settings for the PC" option.
In the left navigation panel, select 'Accounts', select the third option - "Other". There, in the right panel is the "Add a User" option.
Press this into the bottom option and click the 'Next' tab.
Select "Local Account
Type 'User name' and password dela account. If you choose not to use a password, click or tap "Next" without entering a password.
