Activating and using safe mode 
 
Safe mode allows you to switch the unit on third-party applications disabled. Then, you can easily remove all applications that may be causing a conflict or software problems. 
 
To turn on safe mode and use it to troubleshoot applications, follow these steps: 
 
Turn on safe mode 
Turn off the computer. 
Press and hold the Power key. 
When "Samsung Galaxy S5" is displayed, release the Power key. 
Immediately after releasing the Power button, press and hold the Volume Down key. 
Keep holding down the Volume Down key until the phone finishes rebooting. 
Safe Mode appear in the lower left corner of the screen. 
Release the Volume Down key when you see Safe Mode. 
 
Uninstall third-party applications 
From any Home screen, tap Applications. 
Tap. 
Navigate to "Applications", then click Application Manager. 
If necessary, slide to the right towards Downloaded screen. 
Tap the desired application. 
Click Uninstall. 
Press OK. 
 
 
Disable safe mode 
 
To turn off safe mode, follow these steps: 
 
Press and hold the Power key. 
Press Restart.
