Go to the main menu of your device and select 'Settings'.
Once in the 'Settings' menu iPhone, find the 'General' tab and click on her.
To disable auto-correction, slide to the bottom of the screen and select the 'Keyboard' tab.
Generally, the option to disable the spell checker is in second position. You just swipe your finger and let the little icon button to off.
