HTC again surprise the world on 25 February when he introduced the HTC One M8 and although it is not available yet here in PR as you say we root the HTC One M8. The method comes thanks to the XDA community and squabbi developer and it comes in the form of Toolkit.
HTC One M8 Toolkit is a tool that allows us to perform various functions on the HTC One M8. This tool assumes a very simple process and in most cases are "One click".
As I mentioned above, the process for using the Toolkit is very simple and takes only a few clicks. The procedure is very simple and here we tell you generally what you can do with this tool and how to use it.
What can you do with HTC One Toolkit M8?

IMPORTANT! Before there are several points that we should consider this Toolkit:
- To use the Toolkit drivers on your computer must be installed on the computer. This can be done with the Toolkit once you open it.
- To obtain root access first thing you do in the Toolkit is unlock Bootloaders on your phone (I can do with the Toolkit). This process will erase all content on your One M8 and left as out of the box. I recommend that you make a backup or backup everything you do not want to lose.
- At the time of development of these tools and the preparation of this paper the One M8 was not available globally so some items might not be working 100% by the lack of equipment to develop and test files. One of these may be the installation of Recovery, so you may have to install it manually once rootees your M8.
- Having said all this can continue.
Procedure
- Download the file and unzip Toolkit v1.0.1
- Run the file Toolkit.exe
- Connect the computer to the M8 and the Toolkit choose the function you want to run and follow the steps that tells the program.
Obviously this is a tool that is still under development and we expect to receive several updates in the coming weeks once it is officially released HTC One M8. For now here are a gallery of images of the options that we find in the Toolkit and the original link in XDA.
updated
On April 5 this tool was updated to version 1.0.2. The update should make it from the same Toolkit for now explains the creator of it.
