Why NOT to buy ASUS products ?
ASUS was a good brand refuted in the past , I say knowingly , because I am in the industry, but now their products are just as bad that your service technician .
I acquired the two Tablets FONEPAD 20/06/2013 , has today 15/10/2013 , I have not been able or new, have spent these months traveling from home service. and vice versa, the first by the poor quality of its components, the back cover that allows access to the SD card and 3G card is faded as the press with your finger to remove. Try explaining the SAT is not an aesthetic problem , a week of calls and discussions, until someone comes up has to send photos. RMA and crosses both teams return one changed the other does not, which had changed the cover hangs at startup with a picture of a battery and a question mark.
Call 902 and get nothing call ASUS IBERIAN and you get connected with a person who shows interest and tries to throw you a cable, no where to put claims , although they say you have to go to their website and " contact " , choose the "suggestions" ? ? choice?
You send back the two and give it back running striped and not know it was going to happen . One of the two FONEPAD , hard of 3G coverage , another RMA , send it and give it back fixed , but still no coverage , lame three phones of different operators and get along on FONEPAD and photo so you can see the stripes cover all 4 the FONEPAD 1 return to arrange another RMA.
Seen that the claim is an understatement , I get the name of the director of Iberian Asus Mr. Hank Wu , I send a certified return receipt letter and the response I get is fantastic , I am told that one of the teams I paid the amount and the other to a new RMA is it the fourth ' is the fifth ? , I've lost count.
The reply from Asus , no apology for this one , unlike me communicate that the other van repaired me , sounds like a favor , as if they were forced to.
Today on 15/10/2013 , the return of the money I have not seen a hard and having in the Czech Republic (which is where the SAT ) to repair the coverage gap , they told me they do not have spares from the 03/10/2013 day and tell me already .......
The person Asus, trying to give me a cable , no longer works there and this morning I called ( 93.492.79.38 ) and Miss Friendly , who has attended me , has aired and did not want me or give me your name , I've practically hung up the phone .
So before you buy ASUS , choose another brand , but the product may be good, which in this case it is not, if the SAT is not bad pays to purchase.
Add missing what technicians said they changed , but this alone would be another story.
