The problem is that the cache memory of the device is full. Remove applications and unneeded files that can help. Restart your smartphone into recovery mode by pressing the low power and the home button (for Samsung devices) volume. This mode offers a few more options. Select clear cache partition to navigate through the options with the volume control. Confirm with the button.

Another method would be to go to system settings >> Accounts >> Google >> delete your Gmail account. From the settings >> Applications >> All >> Force stop, clear data and cache for Google Play Store. Again, go to Settings >> Accounts >> Google >> Add to your Gmail account. Restart the Android and then accept all the terms of Google and Google configuration settings. Run Google Play Store and update or install the latest application. The you can look at our homepage.

Android may well be a reliable system, it may happen that a sentence pursuant to download, an update does not want to move or your phone restricts you to a limited use (downloading, viewing, internet. ..). In most cases, the dysfunction is characterized by the appearance of a small window in the screen center will educate the title of the problem and its reference.

"Can not download the update" xxx "because an error occurred (498)." The error code 498 appears when your memory is insufficient. This can be the internal memory of the smartphone, SD card, or the cache (temporary). Namely, the system maintains a "margin" of operation so it must remain you more free space than the size of the application you want to install. If your physical memory is sufficient, go to "Settings", "Applications", "All" and then in "Google Play Store" and clear the cache and data. Then go to "Download Manager" then erase the data and clear the cache. Finally, restart your phone and try the download or update.
