1) Before you start you should make sure your model is LG LS970 Optimus G, for which you have to go to menu Settings -> About device and check.
2) Then you have to enable USB mode Debuggin entering the Settings menu -> About device -> Enable USB debugging mode.
3) Then you have to download the tool that will allow us to unlock the bootloader and get root access from here.
4) Now connect your LG Optimus G to the PC using the original USB cable.
5) Then you will get a message that lets you choose how you want to connect, and you must select Charge-Only.
6) Then you have to open the tool GAIO downloaded in step 3.
