I'm new here and it's my first message, the truth is that a friend told me about this forum very well a few days ago and I've been reading some very interesting posts.
Coincidentally, yesterday my mobile began to give trouble so I thought maybe could you help me because I start to be pretty desperate.
I have a Nexus 4, which has more than 3 years (yes, rare nowadays have such old phones, at Christmas I will renew) and it has worked pretty well until yesterday.
Since yesterday, I can turn on the phone and say that responds well for 2 or 3 minutes before the crash. That is, I light it, I can get into whatsapp or check email and after a few minutes is locked. After a few seconds of locking me out a window reporting that the application is failing and if I want to wait or close the application. And if after turning on the phone I do nothing, and wait a few minutes, then I try to use it and I get the same error message but in this case indicating that the launcher does not work. Sometimes directly or you get the error message with the application / launcher and directly the screen is frozen.
I have no rooteado mobile or anything, I'm a very "normal" Android user.
I read on the internet that could be problem launcher series coming so I installed the nova launcher. I could install and designate it to be always used but apparently the problem persists (thought that would sort!)
I start to be pretty desperate because until December / January I can not renew the mobile and do not know what the problem is or how to fix it.
The last thing I can think of is to do a factory reset (I never have). Do you think that could work?
On the other hand, when making factory reset, what you are lost?
Do I lose the photos? Would I have to reinstall all applications? If I have notes or alarms on mobile also I lose? I imagine you would lose all this but want to make sure before trying to restart :)
I would be eternally grateful if you could help me with this issue because I am that I shot hairs! A million thanks in advance !!
