How to Install a Custom Rom and its corresponding Kernel (boot.img)

Let the mess ..

Looking for a Rom you like. Make sure it is compatible with your terminal:
If you have a Hox + international terminal, flash Rom Hox + international one
If you have a Hox + ATT Telus or terminal, flash Roms Hox + Att / Telus
Evident. And dangerous to do so as well.

-Connects The USB cable. Go to the phone folders. Create a folder that is called ROMS (not by obligation, but to make it ordenadito) and copy into the Rom you want to install.
'In the toolkit click Boot into Recovery (you can also do it with the terminal off, pressing the volume-and power buttons for a few seconds, and then going to the recovery menu). If you have not done before, MAKE A BACKUP.
-Lee This whole sentence before doing anything -> now proceed to Wipear. Tap Wipe and Wipe Cache, Dalvik, Factory Reset, and System. NOTHING. If you do wipe on something else, you will erase the storage including !! ROM you wanted to install, and have the occasional headache to solve the issue (Post 4)
-Press Install, go to the ROMS folder you created, and selects the one you want to flash. After flashearla, press the back button. Click Reboot and Reboot into Bootloader. Open the Rom you downloaded on the PC, you should see a boot.img file. Leave it somewhere on the pc, and the Toolkit click "Flash a Kernel. Boot.img You select the file you were out there, and will be flashed.
Reboot from -Press of the phone. To boot the phone normally.

Congratulations !!

As you have seen, and because most terminals have are S-On, you must flasehar rom one hand, and on the other the Kernel.
Keep in mind that the kernels are not always compatible Roms. You have to read well the characteristics of the roms installed. Many carry their own kernel, or the author will tell if some other kernel that supports Rom.

-Get A ROM, either the Original copy you made, or another. Rename it with a single word, for example CM10.zip QX.zip ARHD.zip ...
'In the toolkit, in the Extras section, click ADB sideload Rom. Click "yes" when asked if you are in recovery. Select the ROM you want to install. The toolkit will transfer and MT will flash.
'Once completed, press back. Click Reboot, and bootloader.
