It is one of the most anticipated games of the moment and desired, but has a fairly serious problem: spend a lot of battery. We talk about Pokemon Go, a game that, as we tell you yesterday, is now available for Android and iOS. The game drains excess system resources. We must not lose sight that this is an application based on augmented reality and, on the other hand, also synchronizes operation with the GPS system of the computer. The game seeks play areas suitable for what is called Pokémoning. But there is still one more reason why the phone battery will wear out faster with this game: the camera. When you keep it for long periods of time to catch Pokemon, wear is amazing. If we add the large number of notifications received and the fact that it is so addictive, the combination is truly explosive. But today we want to solve this problem. Here are some tips for saving battery while playing Pokemon Go.
1. Activate the energy saving system
The game itself brings with it an energy saving system. It is not proven that it can work, but considering that in just a few minutes you can stand to lose 40% of battery, worth a try. This tool may prove useful to us to keep the GPS always stay on and try to register your location using mobile data connections.
2. Reduce the brightness
It is a solution, but is also a great disadvantage. Reduce the brightness in a game that we play outdoors is a real sacrilege, because you can just see you run out of anything. We do not recommend, unless you have left very little battery and do not have the possibility to put your device to load shortly. To reduce the brightness on your Android only you have access to the section Settings> Display> Brightness. It reduces the brightness to a level that can be considered acceptable, otherwise, besides running out of battery, you'll run game.
3. Disable all functions that are not related to the game
And now we will propose another interesting tip: turn off all those functions do not need. If you leave open applications and files or waiting, most likely along with the weight of the game, your mobile phone battery is reduced in the blink of an eye. In this case, we recommend only have activated the functions you really need for the game. Access the application manager to see if you open Google Play Music, Spotify, Facebook, WhatsApp or other tools that have little or nothing to do with the game. You can also disable features you do not use, but remember you need the GPS and data.
But if your Pokémon Go addiction is too strong, you may have to opt for a battery replacement or recharging a complementary system or power bank that can help in case of an energy crisis.
