My iPhone 4, 4S, 5 ... gets no coverage . This is one of the questions that typically come to us via mail and usually have a good prognosis and simple solution. The situation is this, turn on one day the iPhone and where should put the name of the operator, Movistar, Vodafone, Orange or that is, puts Looking ... No service ... or something similar, so the iPhone appears to be without coverage. Normally usually a small software error , so all the steps we take will be directed to solve the problem and rule out a more serious hardware failure.

  1. The first thing I would do is restart the phone . Well turn it off and turn it on again or keep pressed the home button and sleep at a time until the apple appears on the screen, then let go. Once restarted, the problem might be gone. If not so, try the next step.
  2. Turn off your phone, remove the sim , Bring it to be inserted and restart the iPhone. Another solution that works in many cases. If you do not work, point 3 passes.
  3. In the settings of your iPhone go to settings operator and put it in manual mode , it will start to search for available networks, when they appear select your operator. If it does not work you go to the next tip.
  4. If the above steps did not work, you may have to decide to make a complete restoration of your phone by connecting to iTunes . Do not forget to make a backup before you to preserve your data. Let's hope so has been solved, otherwise we could be facing a hardware problem of the phone itself, but before we hit the hands to the head we can rule out that the error is in the SIM card.
  5. To verify that the SIM working properly , take it out and try it on another phone, you can also try your phone with another SIM-operator in case you have blocked.

If none of this works, we might start thinking that this is a problem or failure of the iPhone.
