When electronics are involved, the products of companies are not immune to manufacturing defects, whether revealed almost instantly when they reach the hands of consumers or many months later. One of the most complicated components of a smart phone is its display, especially in cheaper phones, since it is what allows us to communicate with the terminal.

If the screen of your smartphone or tablet is marketed as multi 5 or 10 pressure points, how can you be able to know that all areas of the screen are equally sensitive? Is there any part that is not necessary to press both your finger (or vice versa)? If you want to know the answers to the above questions it is clear and the solution to problems that can arise from these, it easily enables you to Android with one of the lesser known features of the operating system developer mode.

The first step is to enable the developer options in the device menu. To do this we go to Settings -> About phone -> and press 7 times in the build number. After that we will receive a message that indicates that we are now developers, allowing us to access a hidden menu.
The second step is to go through these options and seek Developer "Pointer location" and "Show beats". Both functions must enable and verify how a top bar appears with values that can be a little strange and a gray circles under your finger every time you press the screen.

The third step is to see whether or not the touch screen function properly, something we can do through the top bar has appeared. The left value (P: 0/1 default) indicates how many points on the screen are reading at that time. In case your device has a 10-point multi-touch, placing our 10 fingers on the screen will automatically appear X / 10 to that value. Of course, if the X value is equal to 10, everything works perfectly. If not, it would be best to go to the manufacturer or vendor to change the component, although it should be noted that the failure may be due to a software problem.

As a check, the fourth step is to try to bring our fingers to areas that assume not work as well as the rest. If we push harder a red line also longer in the top red bar appears on the screen, indicating that the area is likely to be affected by a problem.
