As was the case with the Samsung Galaxy S5, there is already an early version of CyanogenMod 13 for the 2014 Moto X device, also known as Moto X (second generation). This version has appeared on the XDA forum, allowing users with this phone can enjoy the new Android Marshmallow in it before updating it. We can still find some bugs present, you will probably be solved over time; but the ROM can be used without problems, as most features are available and there are no major problems, or so say the developers. However, it is important to consider some details. For starters, do not enable power saving mode because we will produce a bug in the system and the phone will reboot continuously. On the other hand, night mode does not seem to be working quite well, so it would be advisable to avoid for now. The latest versions of CyanogenMod 13 come with some solutions for the problems of the lock screen, enhancements have also been added to the information from the Weather app, and some details related to CM itself. There have also been some mistakes, fortunately for those who already have solutions.

Here are some cases that you can find.

- If your browser is closed suddenly when you download a file , go to Settings> Apps> Browser> Permits> enables all permissions.

- The app of Facebook Messenger may also suddenly closes . To fix this, delete or rename the file libsslx.so route from /data/app/com.facebook.katana-1/lib/arm and /data/app/com.facebook.orca-1/lib/arm ( required to sign in to the root).

- To solve the problems of MTP Mount , connect your phone to the PC with a USB cable.Go to Settings > Developer Options> USB Select Settings , and then change it to PTP, and then change it back again to MTP . By doing this, your storage device will be recognized on the computer.

If you want to install the CM13 ROM on your Moto X , we offer a guide with steps to do so . However, do not forget to create a backup of all your files before starting the installation . So you make sure you can restore your phone if something is not working quite right.
