Only those of us who have had (or still have) this type of device know what it means to live in technological frugality, at this point we know the basic tricks to free iPhone memory:

• Delete applications that are not essential or not in use, including games.
• Delete or backup photos / videos / Screenshots that are unnecessary to have in the phone.
• Delete iMessage or WhatsApp chats that are ridiculously extensive and contain many files.
• Disable automatic file downloads in the infamous family / friends groups of WhatsApp.
• Uninstall WhatsApp and reinstall it.
• Do not use the Mail app, because it usually downloads emails to the phone.
• Do the above also with Instagram.
• Forget about having music offline in your device.
• Delete the Facebook App and use it from the browser, probably Safari because at this point you surely have to delete Google Chrome.
• Clear the browser cache.
