Update S3 Neo Lollipop OTA

We all wanted and not going to happen. Samsung plans do not provide, for the moment, provide update via OTA to this device. Know the reasons, but knowing that launched a similar terminal S3 for KitKat, would they be able to do a double S3 Neo for Lollipop? Who knows ...

Therefore, the only way to have an Android Lollipop Neo S3 is by custom ROM based on the above operating system.

Manually Installing CyanogenMod 12 based on Android 5.0.2

First we need a custom recovery, in this case CWM, for which we download Odin, Samsung drivers and file tar.md5 of recovery.

NOTE: Neither AndroidPIT nor are we responsible for errors and malfunctions terminal during or after the process that we show below.

Turn off the S3 Neo and start it in Download (volume up, home button and power button simultaneously) mode
Then press the volume key up and connects the terminal to the PC via USB.

Make sure ODIN recognizes your phone. Click on reset and then PDA and select the file you just downloaded tar.md5. Look closely to re-partition is not marked.
Click start and wait a few seconds.

The terminal will reset itself and you have the CWM recovery on your S3 Neo.

Once we have the custom recovery installed on your phone, download the file must CyanogenMod 12 and the Google Apps to have them on the device. We follow the following procedure to install the ROM:

We transfer both downloaded to the SD card S3 Neo our files and immediately start the phone in Recovery (volume up, home key and power key at once) mode.

Make Wipe data / factory reset the phone. This will delete all your data.
Installed from the recovery file CyanogenMod and Google Apps.
Restart the terminal.

And it's over, you'll have CyanogenMod 12 based on Android 5.0.2 on your Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo, and now, enjoy!
