The first thing to do uninstall the Ask Toolbar from your computer and then proceed to restore your home page and search engine following steps depending on the browser you use.
To Remove spyware from your PC to Windows 7 must:
Go to Start> Control Panel> Programs and Features
Located in the Programs list icon Ask Toolbar and press the right mouse button or mouse. Click Uninstall and wait for deletion. If more than one program linked to Ask uninstall it too.
To do this in Windows 8 must:
Go to Windows or Start button and click with the right mouse button or mouse. A menu is displayed, select Programs and Features and follow the instructions above.
Remove Ask Toolbar for Chrome
The next step to remove Ask Toolbar is reset the home page and the search engine of your browser, in this case Google Chrome.
To reset the home page in Chrome:
Click 3 stripe located on the top right of the browser> Settings> Settings.
Go to the option When you open the browser> Press the Set link pages.
Enter the URL of the home you want.
To reset the search engine in Chrome:
Click 3 stripe located on the top right of the browser> Settings> Settings.
Go to the Search> Click the Manage button search engines.
Select the search engine you want.
Remove Ask Toolbar for Firefox
Once you've uninstalled Ask Toolbar from your list of programs, it will be very easy to restore the home page and search engine.
To reset the home page in Firefox:
Click 3 stripe located on the top right of the browser> Options> General
In homepage manually type the URL of the website you want.
To reset the search engine in Firefox:
Go to the search engine located on the top right.
Displays tab and select the search engine of your choice.
Remove Ask Toolbar in Explorer
To reset the home page in Explorer:
Go to the nut located at the top right> Internet Options> General
You manually enter the address of your homepage.
