The first thing you need to do to remove the password on Windows 8 will go to Start and place the mouse cursor in the lower right corner. Thus, a sidebar with various options will appear and you should click on Settings.

The next step is to select the 'Change settings for PC' to find icons on the sidebar to access the various parameters and settings from your Windows 8.

Sorry, you must go to the accounts that you find on the left sidebar option. Remember that in case of a shared computer, you must be logged in to the account you want to remove the password.

Once you're viewing the information on your account, you should click the 'Disconnect' option you will see under your account name.

Now need to enter your password for your account on Microsoft, which until now were using to log on to your Windows 8 and click 'Next'. This is a security process and verification to confirm that you want to remove the password from your account and make it a local account.

At this point, you do NOT have to complete any of the fields that you are asked to remove the password and get into Windows 8. You just need to press the 'Next' button again.

Finally, you must log off for the changes to take effect, so make sure you have saved all documents or work you were doing and click 'Logout and end'.
