The ROMS based on currently circulating CM11 usually have a problem associated with the camera.
Having flashed some of these new ROMS with Android 4.4.2-based KitKat CM11 almost certainly after a few shots the camera photographs show a message like "Unable to connect to camera" or "the application gallery has stopped "This will turn your smartphone into anything but a camera. A first workaround if you want to tinker around, is to restart the phone to take a picture anytime and return to work for a while. But if you want to have full use of your camera, as usual you will have to install a new camera. Then, thanks to Windroid Solutions I explain how.
Solution to the problem of camera KitKat Android 4.4.2
1-The first is to unburden the Google Camera 4.4.2 signed file
2-The move to our internal SD card, if you have not saved there.
3-We went into recovery mode, look for the file and install it
4-Reboot the device
After the reboot you will see that if you had a shortcut to the camera on your home screen, will not work, but if you go to the app drawer where you have all your apps, and create new shortcut now I have the camera running at 100 %. Including the Photosphere camera mode of Nexus. Great ¿no?
This file has been tested in a Galaxy S3 with CyanFox ROMS, Ultima ROM, OmniRom, ResurrectionRom, and now Probam 4.4.2
