Currently the smartphone powered by batteries (lithium-ion) which give us great advantages over the previously used to use (nickel). While we provide a longer life, we must be aware of the care that we should have because most people think that their batteries are presenting failures, the main problem of these batteries is that they are not calibrated, ie, do not give a faithful reading of its charge.

To know whether it is good or not calibrated will do the following:

Calibrate Android battery after verification.
1. With the phone on, charge the battery to 100% at the end of the load disconnected mobile charger

2. We turn off the phone.

3. Now off mobile, connect it to the charger. If the battery indicator shows 100% charged, no need to calibrate the battery, it may take seconds to show 100% charge, if it takes more than a minute is necessary to calibrate the battery.

To calibrate the battery there are two methods, depending on whether or not the root terminal.

Should be root there are several apps that do the job simply, if you do not get the app or prefer to do it yourself you leave the steps to calibrate your battery:

1. Load the battery to 100%

2. Reboot the phone and walked in "recovery" (it is usually with the power button and the volume key) already in recovery mode make a wipe battery stats, this option will find at the entrance to Advanced
3. Now restart the phone or charge until they have exhausted the battery.

4. Now off, charge the battery to 100% and then we can use the phone normally. It is calibrated the battery.

Not being root, we have a disadvantage, since the method for calibrating the battery is unreliable or may not be as effective, so not achieve the optimal result. If you are not root and your battery is not calibrated follow these steps:

1. Load 100% mobile on, as this fully loaded, remove from the charger and turn it off.

2. Now off, plug the charger back and let until you load new account 100%.

3. Loaded 100% withdrew it from the charger and turn on the phone, select the option in settings for the screen stays on and does not turn off, turn to connect the charger and wait for it to fully charge again.

4. Now 100% loaded, remove from the charger, change the option on the screen to return as you normally had, we will not charge the phone until the battery runs out, what we reload at 100% and you can function normally.

We could agree that smartphones are one of the best creations of man, literally putting all kinds of information at the tip of our fingers. But, as nothing is perfect, they have something against which is quite annoying: the battery life.

At other times before smartphones when Nokia was the leader in enterprise and mobile screens they were even color, batteries could last up to three days without having to approach the charger. Now? Tough luck if you have a whole day, but not much more than that.

Android has always suffered more than iOS in this regard, and there are many users who have a battery life of their mobile total laugh. If your phone battery is lasting less than 12 hours, you may, or you're spending too much without knowing what or who is uncalibrated.

How do I know if my battery is uncalibrated?

To find out if your smartphone has the uncalibrated battery can check a few things.

1.      Check out these tips and put them into practice to avoid unnecessary energy consumption in Android. This should increase the amount of time the battery lasts you anyway.

2.      If still no improvement, do the following test: turn off the phone when the battery is about 50%. Turn it again and see if the battery still in the same or a similar percentage. When uncalibrated usually returns with a low battery showing red.

What does calibrate the battery?

In Android there are statistics that indicate which battery capacity, and help us to know how much is left of life when we are using mobile. But sometimes statistics can be corrupted, and display data that are not real, and ended up with a phone that is turned off before you actually get to 0% load. If you calibrate the battery, these statistics will be deleted and created again to avoid that problem.

Calibrate a battery without access Android root

If you do not have access to root on your Android, you can use one of two methods:

Install Current Widget: Battery Monitor and investigate what is the capacity of your battery, it can do by searching the Internet using the model of smartphone you have.

Run the application, this simply shows the battery charge in milliamps (mAh). Begins to charge your battery until the application show that you have reached the total capacity of milliamps of your specific battery model. Turn off the phone and turn it on, the battery should now be charged to 100% and not cause more problems.

The second method is a little more complicated:

1.      Load completely mobile while on. When finished remove the jack and turn it off.

2.      When the smartphone is off connect the charger again and wait to reach 100%. This will be indicated by a green LED light almost always.

3.      Unplug the charger and turn on the phone again. Go to settings and change the display options for this remain lit all the time, never turn off automatically. Reconnect the charger and wait until she gets back to 100%.

4.      Finally, unplug and let the mobile is fully discharged until it turns itself off. When off reloaded up to 100%. When ready turn it on again and you can now return the display settings to normal.

Calibrate the battery in Android with root

Install the application Battery Calibration , charge your phone until it reaches 100% and then running the app. Notice the number of millivolts (mV) appear on the screen next to the load percentage. If this number continues to increase despite the charge says 100%, continue to charge the battery until it stops completely. When this happens, press the "Battery Calibration" button and reboot your device.

This will erase the old stats battery and should now be properly calibrated.
