SOLUTION 1

Step 4: Download and install the latest version of iTunes from the official website.

Step 5: Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to your computer, open iTunes, click Restore and install the latest version of iOS available.

SOLUTION 2

This method is more laborious but has higher satisfaction rate in resolving the error. If you've tried the solution 1 with disastrous results, we go for the second:

Step 1: Make a backup of your iOS device to prevent accidents if something goes wrong.

Step 2: Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to your computer and open iTunes.

Step 3: Put your device in DFU mode. To do this, press and hold both the Home button (Home button) and the Power button (Sleep / Wake button). After 10 seconds, release the Power button but continue holding the Home button another 10 seconds.

DFU Mode on iPhone
If done correctly, the device screen will turn black and iTunes will detect that the device is in recovery mode, a popup message alerting.

Step 4: Give Restore.

Step 4a: If you want to manually download the iOS software or already have it on your computer, press Shift + Restore (Windows) or Alt + Restore (Mac) to select the file and restore the device.

Emplees the method you employ, with the restored device you only need to restore the backup you made previously to leave everything as before, but more updated;)
