Set up a VNC server on OpenSuse is an almost indispensable to manage our computers remotely requirement. The desktop will be accessible from anywhere on the Internet or your local network with a VNC client using any operating system. All you need is a VNC software installed, so you can manage your computers from anywhere system. The benefits of using a VNC server are:

We can manage our systems from any operating system that has a VNC client installed.

It is more reliable and faster than an X-Server via SSH.

Installing and Configuring the VNC
The first thing we will do is open Yast, look for the kdenetwork3-vnc software and install it. We were notified that some changes will be made, we will continue with the installation.
Once we do this in Yast we go to Network Services and then we will open Remote Administration (VNC). We select that remote administration is enabled and click OK. The system probably ask us to install xorg-x11, install it and we were asked to restart our display manager, we restart the computer at this point.
Connecting to VNC client
Now connect using a VNC client software, such as VNC or TightVNC Viewer for Linux, Windows, OSX and even mobile systems. The default port is 5901 and can quickly and easily connect to any VNC software using the IP of the machine and said port. In our case we set the port to another one.
Now all we will be introducing our credentials and we can manage our system remotely.
