I have forgotten my password and need to know how to unlock a Samsung Galaxy s5.

I put a password (lock) on my Samsung Galaxy s5 and cannot remember it.  My phone is locked and I have used almost all of my allowed attempts.  I would like for the password to be removed.  Could you please help me with this problem.
