How do I put movies + 4GB Micro-SD in?

I have a Galaxy Tab, and was perfectly reproduces the MKV formats, but I have many movies in HD + 4GB weight and did not enter the MicroSD be in FAT32 format, but if the formatting to NTFS the GALAXY TAB NOT recognize !! then how would I do ???

For ntfs not recognized because it is a microsoft file system.

 

I try to format the micro SD in ext4, which is a linux file system and read android.

I also need a solution to this, as already formatted to NTFS using the Mass Storage mode, and fully accepts BIG files but using the microSD in the Galaxy TaB not want recnonocer !!! and forces me to format it to FAT32. :-(

Hello! Some of you have tried to Ext4? is that I have the same problem, but as I have a mac computer, which format is not equivalent to Ext4 to format my SD. I mean, when I use the formatting tool (Disk Utility) gives me the following: FAT32, NTFS, Mac Journaled / without registration, Mac Plus. Therefore do not know if any of these formats is equivalent to Ext4! Thanks for your answers. regards

I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 Android 4.1.2 and formatie a pendrive to Ext4 and when I connect to the tablet OTG does not recognize the format, it gives me error unknown format. The truth as I read in some forums that file system is compatible with Android because it is Linux but the reality is that it does not recognize. if you format in NTFS for you to recognize you got to do root your tablet to install an app that lets you read this format, but without being root found nothing

To get files larger than 4GB in my case I formatted the microSD card ExFAT in an iMac with Lion 10.7.5 to me appears to me as a possibility within Disk Utility. However, I think it only works with Samsung phones and tablets, because once I tried it on a Sony Xperia Z, and did not read ExFAT, only FAT32.
