This manual will explain step by step how to configure a proxy server in the Google Chrome browser in a way that can be understood as clearly as possible. Then find below a button that says "Change proxy configured ..." and dale click:
 
 
Properties window will then open Internet, just go to the tab that says "Connections" and click the button that says "LAN settings":
 
Then check the box that says "Automatically detect settings" and one that says "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN access)," then where it says "IP Address" you write the address IP of the proxy server, and where it says "Port" put the port number you will use which mostly is 8080 and voila, you have the proxy server configured:
