Moto G GPE: How to install Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with Root

Having already been released Lollipop Android version 5.0 for Moto G 2013, is now available for OTA Google Play Edition better known as Moto G GPE. News that will be obtained in this update are as above, among them we can mention one of the most anticipated changes is the interface Material Desing and its new management based on ART. At the moment not yet available images produced, but if the first official update via OTA. If you do not want to wait any longer to arrive via OTA Update your device can follow these steps to update your Moto G GPE to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
 
How to install the Android 5.0.1 OTA Lollipop on your Moto G GPE
 
As we said earlier, by the time you can upgrade to Android 5.0.1 OTA Lollipop your Moto G GPE, waiting to be released factory image you must meet these requirements:
 
Your Moto G GPE must have or be version of Android 4.4.4 KTU84P installed, if not you can do it using the following tutorial | Install Android 4.4.4 in Moto G GPE
 
This update is compatible with the following models: Moto G GPE and XT1034 XT1032.
 
Your Moto G GPE should not count with Root or with a custom recovery as TWRP Recovery.

Install Android 5.0.1 for Moto G GPE via OTA

procedure:
 
1- Download and moves the OTA to ADB Tools folder:
 
 
2- Download and unzip the ADB tools folder on the desktop and move the OTA downloaded in step 1 without decompressing to this folder | ADB Tools
 
3- Turn off your smartphone and place it in Fastboot mode, To do turn off your device and press the Volume Down + Power for 3 seconds and loose, then the menu will Fastboot mode on your Moto G GPE.
 
4-After fastboot mode and you should see the screen bootloader on your Android with the following options:
  • Normal Powerup
  • Recovery
  • Factory
  • Switch Console
  • barcodes
  • BP Tools
5- Relocating with the Volume key Less wherein said Recovery and confirm Volume Up
 
6- You will have to press the Volume keys Ariba + Power until you show them the Android with a warning sign and keep pressing until you show them options Recovery
 
7- Then go to Apply Update from adb and confirm your Installation Power.
 
8- Connect your device to the PC by USB medium, and head to the ADB Tools folder where you have the OTA along with the files containing the ADB Tools folder.
 
9- You need to open the CMD command, this is done in the ADB Tools folder by pressing the SHIFT key on your keyboard + Right Click your mouse and leaves the options you choose "Open Command Window Here".
 
10- execute one CMD window and type or copy the following command to Enter:
 
adb sideload98bf5eb65e89fb5a4257135dfdff76662ffc01c9.98bf5eb65e89fb5a4257135dfdff76662ffc01c9.incremental-KTU84P.M003_18-LRX21Z.M002_15.zip
 
11- already completed the procedure only remains Restart the device.

Root and Install TWRP in the Moto G GPE with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop:
 
 
 
Root Moto G GPE
 
Before continuing with the procedure, it is necessary to activate Developer Options for this Settings> About Device and press more than 7 times in a row the number Compilation until a message is displayed notifying the developer options are enabled.
 
Then from your device go to Options developer and check the box Enable OEM unlocking / permit OEM unlock and then below on or tick the USB Debugging.
 
1- Download and unzip this file |  CF-Auto-Root-falconumts-falconreteu-xt1032.zip
 
2- When you unzip the .zip file to a folder New
 
3- Turn off your smartphone and place it in Fastboot mode, To do turn off your device and press the Volume Down + Power for 3 seconds and loose, then the menu will Fastboot mode on your Moto G GPE.
 
4- Connect your device to the PC by USB medium, and go to the folder where you unzipped the file in step 2
 
4- Run the root-windows.bat file and confirm with ENTER
 
5- You will then need only disconnect the device and restart.
 
Philz Recovery Touch
 
1- Download and unzip the following file | recovery.img
 
2- Recovery ADB move it to the Tools folder
 
3- Turn off your device and enter fastboot mode by pressing for 3 seconds the power button + volume down button.
 
4-Then and in fastboot mode you should see the bootloader screen of your Moto G
 
5- Connect your device to the PC by USB medium, and head to the ADB Tools folder where you unzipped the file recovery.img along with the files containing the ADB Tools folder.
 
6- You must first flashing Recovery .img, that is made in the ADB Tools folder by pressing the SHIFT key on your keyboard + Right Click your mouse and departure options you choose "Open Command Window Here".
 
7- execute one CMD window and type or copy the following command and press ENTER:
 
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
 
8- If all went well in the CMD will display some numbers. After In the same screen Movil in fastboot mode this scroll to where it says Recovery.
 
If everything went well will have installed the Recovery 6.58.7 Philz_Touch
