Google finally decided to make the jump from version to the first digit and launched Android 5.0 Lollipop, what would be the version of Android with more changes to date. But along with this version have come very interesting news and the occasional setback for users.

I personally am a user who does not usually mobile with sound, I have always vibrate or silence. When I started using Android Lollipop wanted it in complete silence but to my surprise, I could not.

But it seems I'm not the only Android user who misses silent mode and developers have been put to work to return this mode of complete silence to our devices. In this article we will show two flying applications for this purpose. The first is an application and the second a widget to our homepage.

Silent Mode Lollipop

This application stands out for its simplicity of use. Once we initiate the application will display a lollipop across the screen as a switch. If you click on it will change color depending on how going to open. If we have it in green, will be in normal mode while if we change it to red, it will switch to silent mode.

Once we have changed the way we can give back to clear the giant lollipop but remain a persistent notification in the notification center.

Silent Mode Widget Lollipop

If we want something simpler we can also opt for this widget that with only press it can switch between normal mode and silence. The same widget icon will show us if we have normal, vibrate or silence.
