Google

Naturally, Google's Nexus line will be the first Android Lollipop enjoy. Both the new Nexus 6 as the Nexus 9 already on sale , so bring the series, but also come to some earlier models, specifically to the Nexus 4. This is the complete list:

  • Nexus 5
  • Nexus 10
  • Nexus 7 (2014)
  • Nexus 7 (2012)
  • Nexus 4

Although it seemed that the November 3rd availability would be limited to Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 in principle, finally seems that all supported Nexus Android devices can enjoy Lollipop from that date. If you're updating via OTA note that this usually takes a few hours to propagate across all servers and regions.

About Google Edition, in the coming days also come to HTC One, Galaxy S4, Moto G and Xperia Z Ultra.

Motorola

Google promised that despite the sale of Motorola Lenovo updates its policy would not change over the manufacturer, so although not yet have an exact date, users will be among the first to upgrade to Android 5.0. The models are:

  • Moto X (2014)
  • Moto X
  • Moto G (2014) Moto G 4G
  • Moto G
  • And Motorcycles

And of course the Google Edition of Moto Droid G. Most devices (Droid Ultra, Droid and Droid Maxx Mini) remain in doubt.

Sony

Sony posted on its official blog a list of devices that will upgrade to Android L. Surprisingly, this covers the entire line Z, even to some older terminals as the first Xperia Z.

  • Xperia Z3
  • Xperia Z3v
  • Xperia Z3 Compact
  • Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact
  • Xperia Z2
  • Xperia Z2 Tablet
  • Xperia Z1
  • Xperia Z1 Compact
  • Xperia Z1S
  • Xperia Z Ultra
  • Xperia Z
  • Xperia ZL
  • Xperia ZR
  • Xperia Tablet Z

The Google Play Xperia Z Ultra Edition is the first to make the jump to the end of the year. Will follow in early 2015 Xperia Xperia Z2 and Z3.

Samsung

For Samsung, the new Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge obviously receive the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. All indications are that this will reach Alpha Galaxy and Galaxy S5 in December, and other older terminals as the Galaxy S4 (including its Google Edition) a little later. The complete list of devices is:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4
  • Samsung Galaxy Edge
  • Galaxy S5
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini
  • Samsung Galaxy Alpha
  • Galaxy S4
  • Galaxy Note 3
  • Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4
  • Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1
  • Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2
  • Galaxy Tab S 8.4
  • Galaxy Tab S 10.5
  • Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition

LG

The history of LG supporting their terminals with new versions of Android is, at least, somewhat turbulent. Although no official information if we can bet on some of the terminals that are likely to see the arrival of Android L:

  • LG G3
  • LG G3S
  • LG G2
  • LG G Pad 8.3
  • LG Flex

HTC

EXPAND

The only official confirmation from HTC is that within 90 days after the departure of Android 5.0 on 3 November Lollipop both the One and the One M8 M7 receive the update. Most models launched after HTC One M7 can probably make the jump:

  • HTC One M8
  • HTC One M7
  • HTC One Mini
  • HTC One Mini 2
  • HTC One Google Play Edition

Huawei

In this case, the absence of official information available, it seems clear that launched by the company this year terminals can upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop:

  • Huawei G7
  • Huawei Ascend Mate 7
  • Huawei Ascend P7

What happens to the rest?

Some manufacturers, like OnePlus with OnePlus One, have announced future compatibility with Android 5.0 Lollipop. For other cases, however, the unknown continues. In general we can say that any time after the official announcement of Android 5.0 in June Lollipop device may be updated.

For older terminals, always depend on each manufacturer and of course Antique terminal. The more we go into 2013 trickier is that we can make the jump, at least officially, for unsupported devices are often found in various forums tutorials that explain how to update unofficially.
