First method:
First, you need to download flashtool from the Sony site:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/
Make sure you have the USB connection drivers installed.
Turn off the device now.
Then press and hold the Volume Down button and connect the USB cable.
Follow the instructions on the screen, and accept the appropriate options.

Method using the operating system
From the main screen go to the Menu and open the Sony Xperia Z5 Settings.
Look for Backup and Restore, and then click on Restore Factory Data.
In the next step, choose reset the device.
To confirm the selection, select Clear All.
That's all. Your Sony Xperia Z5 is ready for use.
